A friend of mine told his CDI had a problem with the pressure sensor at the high pressure rail, if you take the wire off from the sensor, the system would not Faded Wood Trim. Sun or spill damage. One of the more peculiar problems E-Class owners face is a faded interior wood trim. While Mercedes-Benz is well known for manufacturing their vehicles with high quality components, the one thing they cannot control is the rate at which the interior or exterior components deteriorate. Vito W639 115cdi engine won't start. I have a Vito 115 cdi. Had it serviced, 59,000km, brought it home no problems. Next day went to start it, put the key in, turned it, and all lights etc came on but would not start, absolutely nothing. Pulled the key out put it back in and it started. The ML350 petrol early years of W164 had plenty of problems, but most were not related to engine. Examples of problems included suspension, climate control, audio, power steering, air bag sensors, tranny, brake light assembly problems. S. If the valve is sticking, try holding the gas pedal all the way down when starting the car, this will force flood the engine. If this works, then you likely need the purge valve replaced.
