Game of Thrones is not real 4K. You will see much better picture quality from the standard 1080p Blu-ray but don’t waste your money on the 4K Blu-rays. There are many real 4K Blurays worth owning but GoT is not one of them. I understand it isn't real 4k, but HDR and upscaled from 1080p won't make it look worse.

The downside of watching Game of Thrones Blu-Ray in glorious 1080p High Definition, is that you end up noticing things you're not supposed to notice, and that were not noticeable before. During this scene they're talking about Theon throwing her a coin and the director says "that was cgi" but he says it in the precise moment Ros is lifting her skirt, so Harry Lloyd thought he meant Ros' vagina was cgi instead of the coin 😂 The closest thing around to GOT is LOTR, extended version of 12 hours is the best watch.
