Posted January 7, 2020 (edited) Dear Fellow modelers. Me and My Friend Thiago Caram are planing to make a four handed project. To build and improve the Fw-190 A-5 from Hobby Boss in 1/18. We have mr. Peter Castle work´s as an inspiriration to this project, by the way he make an impotant contribution to this project, a BIG thank´s to Mr. Peter!!!
Ottfried Baisch was killed in it on 18 July ,1844. There is only one known photo of it and the tactical number is not known and the unit emblem cannot be seen in the photo. Baisch's earlier Sturmbock was "Yellow 3" W.Nr. unknown and was mounted with the Krebs-Gerät rocket but it was not a A-8/R2, it was a standard A-8 with Sturmbock equipment(R7).

If I recall, the 3 main items needing some help are the wing guns are incorrectly located (to far outboard) and with no upper or lower breech covers, the nose cowl has gun breech bulges that should not be there and must be sanded down, and the one cowl flap ahead of the supercharger intakes has to be closed. The Hobby Boss V18 isn’t the only 1/48 Känguruh hopping around (sorry). The very nice and rather pricey kit by RV resins is also available (MM review link). The HB kit (#81747) is molded in light grey plastic and is composed of 68 injected and 2 clear parts. The modest decal sheet provides markings for one aircraft, the V18.
