Xenonn. Hello. So we have just started our own server, It has no plugins. We created a flat world, and we wanted to set the world spawn and start building. The problem is /setworldspawn not working. My operators tried, and I tried from console too, just not working. We set, and kill ourselves, and spawn in another coordinate.
hello, i've seen this question a lot before and i finally found an answer. when you do. /set worldspawnpoint it makes you spawn within 30 blocks from the desired point. if you want to spawn in a specific spot you need a repeating command block. you can get this by doing /give [username] minecraft:repeating_command_block. then place it and turn2. In each world you will need to set where you want the spawn to be using /mv setspawn. 3. In your MultiVerse world config you will need to set your spawn world on death to be the same as the world they are in eg. If your world is called PVP then your world on death should be set to PVP also.

Spawn protection prevents players from building in spawn, undoing any attempts at placing or breaking blocks. Players who have any permission level are able to bypass it and build anyway. There are several indirect ways to bypass spawn protection, namely activating pistons, dispensers, explosives and using mob griefing. If there are no ops on the server, then spawn protection does not apply
